xmas 09 visit-days 4,5

Fourth day was a Sunday. I had to work that morning but got to see my sis, cousin and his gf for lunch. The original plan was sushi by the cows. That failed. Plan b was sushi by the road. That failed. We settled on eating at a Serrano's. I guess it was ok cause there was a really cool mask there.

After lunch, I went back to work. Once work was finished I went down south to see what be up. My mum was cooking chicken rice. Basically we watched tele and ate. The Crow came on, I forgot how cool that movie was. I left in the middle of the Crow to go zz from work.

On Monday, my cousin and his gf left on an airplane. I was working and did not see, but I'm pretty sure they were really sad and like crying a lot because they missed me. I understand, I miss me too sometimes. Peace outside.

xmas 09 visit-days 1,2,3

As we all know, Beanie has chose ATX as his celebration station for Xmas 09. He flew in on the 24th with his girlfriend and from what I hear did not do much that day. My sis dropped him off at my place around 6, then I took them to a street with light four lights on it then to my parent's place for food.OMG like we look soo supers drinkin wine together.

The next day was Xmas. "X" I'm told is suppose to be the greek letter and which would be the first initial for Christ. I arrived at my parents house around 11pm. On that day many movies were watched and food articles eaten. After all the guests left in the late afternoon, we opened presents. The coolest present was a rubber chicken which made the most annoying sound in the world. I was the lucky one to receive that present.Bow your heads before the great SRV statue!!

The third day of beanie's visit was a very nice day. Unfortunately I took him to Stubb's BBQ to eat. That place was so yuck compared to Rudy's. After that we took pics by the famous SRV statue. The day progressed with a visit to the dead plant garden by zilker park and the many asian populated coffee shop known as Motzarts. In the afternoon, my sister took my cousin and his gf away from me, so I did not get to see him for the rest of the day.

Beanie Xmas 09'

So I think all of the cousins should be extremely excited that Beanie is coming to ATX for XMAS. This was a rumor for a while but now I think it's pretty much money in the Bank! Oh my what should we do?
1) Barton springs
2) schlitterbahn
3) frozen bat watching
4) hippie hollow (famous for nude swimming)
Huh...I have to share him with someone? What!?! Hmph!

eddie would go

I'm truly facinated by this surfing tournament they had yesterday in Hawaii. It's named the Eddie, after a famous surf dude, a dude who died trying to swim for help b/c his boat capsized. The rest of the boat peeps were rescued, but they never found Eddie. If you've ever seen the bumper sticker "eddie would go"...well that's the Eddie.

Now, this tournament is held every two years and only 24 surfers are invited to play. It takes place between Dec 1 and Feb 28th if conditions are right: Over 20 ft high waves. This does not happen often...not even every year. So um do these surfer dudes just hang around 3 months?

One day I'd like to learn to surf, or at least try it. I've heard that people get competitive for waves and that peeps are hostile to newbies. Sigh. Well maybe one day I'll try it.

20 ft waves? Dudes that's balls.

unknown wedding.

No this isn't about my wedding. Somehow I got myself sucked into a wedding ceremony on Jan 5th at the temple. My mom called and needed me to fill in a position for kung fu lady's wedding. Hmm, I know kung fu lady...I've met her twice I think... I guess I can fill in. I'm not sure what my role is, I think I might be one of the dudes who walks one of the brides maids out. Not sure.
