HP (palm) pre3

My last phone, the still awesome LG Dare, felt a little outdated, so I thought I was time to get some new technology.  My new ebay ordered phone arrived the beginning of February. An HP pre3.

-Style points-
The phone is small, and fits nicely in your hand.  It does feel a little fragile, so I wish someone would make a phone cover for it. I love that the phone has little flash and that when I talk on it, it does not look like I have a giant brick pressed against my head. This phone does not scream "steal me."
-Hardware-
So far I love it.  Dude, its a phone that makes phone calls.  It has an awesome keyboard; I even find myself writing emails just to use the keyboard.  Camera works too (though unfortunately for my preference, there is not a camera dedicated button on the phone itself).
-Software-
WebOS itself is pretty awesome too, I love the way it integrates skype, yahoo mail and cell phone number all together.  The apps are a little slim, even when you install preware, but dude that's ok, I think I'll somehow survive.

Anyways, send me your skypes, send me your emails, send me your texts and call me yo. Peace outside.

Princess Kiki snores and I've started rolling again.

Oh it's been too long since I've put up a picture of princess Kiki.  She's been fine but she snores a lot.

For me, the newest news is that I've starting rolling again.  I found this jiujitsu school I play at in a round-a-bout way through twitter. A jiujitsu guy I follow, posted that he will be coming to Miami to teach a seminar at this school(which is unofficially affiliated with the system he teaches under).  Wow, that very night I sent an email to the guy who teaches the class (who also happens to be from Texas) and the next day I find myself rolling seriously for the first time in maybe 2 years.

Rolling around it feels like I'm twenty again in many ways.
1) I can feel the awkwardness as I try to get back into it.  The students in this jiujitsu school react a little differently than I'm used to, which i think it's good to learn about
2) Endurance(chicks dig endurance).  It's still pretty good; I can do a good 6mins of frantic grappling adjustment with 2 mins rest in between about three or four times in a row without getting too tired.  Once I get comfortable, and can relax more I should be able to go longer.
 3) I feel no injuries at all; zip. All healed up like Wolverine.

I like the pace of the classes, two or three things that get drilled over and over followed by free grappling.  I predict a large amount of growth in my ground game the next 6 months.  Bottom line: this should be fun.

"Don't want to tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him."

Oh i so miss radio play of this song.  They should play this more, I say why not?

I should experince more, record less.

"people are experiencing less and recording more."

George Clooney said this regarding people who now take his picture with their phone, rather than shake his hand. When I heard him say that I thought of concerts I've been to when people are up front taking pictures of the band with their phone, for immediate postings on the stream. People who are more about recording their moment, that actually experiencing it.

It kinda reminds me of this picture:

I've found this picture to be really accurate actually.  There are people who seem to have awesome lives if you follow their stream, but then when you actually meet them, they're kinda boring and really post too much.   Often, these are the same people who can't put their phone down.  That said, I'm pretty sure I'm a pretty boring guy though.  Maybe we should all unplug a little.

knife fight scar.

So the official story that I'm gonna tell people is knife fight.  I was in a knife fight, and the guy sliced me a bit below my belly button, giving me this awesome mark.  The real story may be that I burned myself leaning over and accidentally touching my tummy to a hot cookie sheet, after which I cried like a baby piglet.

*changed picture cause I thought I looked fat....no joke.
